I was interested in buying the 4k package, but was devastated when i found out it didn’t include army of darkness. This release is only held back by the absence of the lauded director’s cut in 4k. I did however see that around two years ago, people were saying that a 4k remaster was coming in 2021, but i can’t find it anywhere. Only the theatrical cut is included in 4k, thankfully from a gorgeous new master (unlike a number of previous effort from universal themselves).

The 4k comes with a hard, black plastic case with a cardboard sleeve that features the original theatrical poster artwork.
